Blood & Honour is an international neo-Nazi network founded in the United Kingdom in 1987; Blood & Honour’s affiliate group Combat 18, described as the “armed branch” of Blood & Honour, was founded in 1992.
Members and associates of Blood & Honour and Combat 18 have been accused of a number of crimes, including possessing explosives and drug trafficking. Members and associates have been convicted of crimes including attempted murder, murder (including a 2019 assassination) and terrorism.
Combat 18 has been banned in Germany since 2020, while Blood & Honour has also been banned in both Spain and France. Both Blood & Honour and Combat 18 have been designated terrorist organisations in Canada since 2019 and are under financial counter-terrorism sanctions in the United Kingdom since January 2025.
Both groups use a similar black-white-red logo in their imagery, often featuring a triskelion; Combat 18 often uses a Totenkopf in its imagery. Combat 18 propaganda often includes slogans like “Whatever it takes!” and “Terrormachine”.
Both groups use number codes: “28” is used as a number code for “B” and “H”, standing for Blood & Honour; “318” is used as a number code for Combat 18, with the 3 as a code for “C”, and “C18” is often also used as an abbreviation.
